Prince Muhammad Ali Palace in Manial is one of the palaces of the royal era in Egypt with a special architectural character. Prince Muhammad Ali, the second son of Khedive Tawfiq, began building the palace in 1902, and has been building in it for decades. Of which 5000 meters represent the building area.
The palace is a unique architectural masterpiece, as it includes various Islamic styles of art, between Fatimid, Mamluk, Ottoman, Andalusian, Persian, and Levantine. It has a wall in the style of the walls of medieval fortresses, while its palaces are surrounded from the inside by gardens that include a rare collection of trees and plants. The palace is currently used as a museum.
