CAIRO, 2 September 2020: Al Azhar Observatory for Fighting Extremism on Wednesday lauded the German Interior Ministry for forming a committee for confronting animosity against Islam.
In a statement, the observatory said that this animosity does not only constitute a threat to Muslims but to the societal coherence in general.
The committee includes 12 members and will start activities next month.
The committee, added the observatory, is a step along the right path towards fighting animosity against Islam, it added.
