The Minister of Culture opens the activities at the COP27 Climate Conference in Sharm El Sheikh..

Amid a large crowd of Egypt’s guests at the COP 27 Climate Conference, which Egypt will host in Sharm El-Sheikh, from 6 to 18 November, Minister of Culture Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani witnessed the opening of artistic activities at the Peace Theater, yesterday, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, Dr. Nahla Imam, Advisor to the Minister of Culture for Intangible Cultural Heritage, and a number of leaders of the Ministry of Culture, South Sinai Governorate and the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.

The traditional Tanoura troupes presented the “Supportative”, “Sufi” and “Review” performances, Port Said for folklore “Simsimiya”, Al-Arish for folklore “Dabkeh”, Al-Hurriya Arts in Alexandria “Banat Bahri”, “Long live Egypt”, and on the old tourist market theater presented Sohag Folklore Troupe, showcasing “Al-Tahtib”, “Al-Sayyidin”, “Samsmeti”, a lyrical break by Maher Kamal, and “Al-Damma” dance by the Ismailia Folklore Troupe.
