CAIRO -30 June 2025: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi marked the 12th anniversary of June 30 Revolution in a speech saying that on this day Egyptians “stood up against terrorism and conspiracies, broke the waves of chaos, thwarted attempts of blackmail, and brought the country back on the right track.”

“Since 2013, Egypt has been writing a new history, not with words, but with actions, not with slogans, but with projects. The path has not been easy, but we confronted terrorism with the blood of martyrs and the bravery of men until it was defeated” President Sisi said.

President Sisi called on all parties of conflicts in the region and the international community to take all necessary measures and to listen to the voice of wisdom and reason to spare the people of the region the scourge of sabotage and destruction.

The Egyptian President affirmed that. “Egypt, is a constant supporter of peace, believes that peace is not born through bombing, imposed by force, or achieved through normalization rejected by peoples. True peace is built on the foundations of justice, fairness, and understanding.”

Sisi added that “the continuation of war and (Israeli) occupation will not produce peace. Rather, it will fuel the cycle of hatred and violence, opening the doors to revenge and resistance that will never close.”

The Egyptian President affirmed that “Peace, although it may seem difficult to achieve, is not impossible. It has always been the choice of the wise.

Let us draw inspiration from the American-brokered Egyptian-Israeli peace process of the 1970s, as proof that peace is possible if intentions are sincere,” Sisi said

Sisi also stressed that peace in the Middle East will not be achieved until an independent Palestinian state is established, based on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In his speech, President Sisi sent respectful tributes to ‘the souls of our martyrs’ and extended greetings and appreciation to the armed forces, and to the Police, who continue their role in preserving the security of our land.
