Egypt's Min of Tourism & Antiquities in coordination with the UNESCO held a workshop to prepare a guideline for cultural heritage sites in Egypt in both Arabic and English.

Within the framework of the keenness of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to develop plans for the management and interpretation of archaeological sites and museums, the ministry, represented by the General Administration of International Relations and Agreements and the General Administration of Services for Tourist and Archaeological Sites and Museums in Sabeel and Kitab Suleiman Agha al-Silhadar on Al-Moez Street in Cairo, set up a workshop to prepare a guideline for the presentation and interpretation of cultural heritage sites In Egypt, in both Arabic and English, in coordination with the UNESCO Office in Cairo.

Iman Zaidan, General Supervisor of the Department of Services Development in Archaeological Sites and Museums at the Ministry, explained that the workshop aimed to train 30 managers of archaeological sites and museums and specialized work teams on the use and application of the guideline, which will be completed during the next few period.

She added that the workshop dealt with introducing the foundations of site management, guidelines and practical tools for interpreting and presenting archaeological sites and museums through a series of lectures, field visits and practical training, which included the Qalawun Group and Bait Al-Suhaimi, in addition to shedding light on mechanisms to improve the visitor experience, taking into account the standards of conservation and sustainable development, pointing to The workshop participants were given the opportunity to express their comments on the draft guide for the adoption of a unified methodology for managing cultural heritage sites in Egypt.
