Yesterday evening, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat organized a concert by the artist Omar Khairat, as part of a series of cultural and artistic events organized by the museum as a civilizational, cultural, educational and artistic beacon.



This celebration coincides with the release of a book on the autobiography of the artist Omar Khairat.

A group of public figures, former ministers, ambassadors of foreign countries in Egypt, and a number of Egyptian artists flocked to the Grand Theater of the Museum, until the theater was filled to the brim. Autobiographical and musical.



During the session, the CEO of the Museum Authority welcomed the musician, Omar Khairat, and thanked him for his fine art that was able to conquer every Egyptian home and all age groups, which he dreamed of, until he became an integral part of Egyptian civilization.



For his part, the musician Omar Khairat thanked the attendees, expressing his happiness with what he saw in the museum of distinct and unique archaeological treasures and the cultural program of the museum to raise the tourist and archeological awareness of the Egyptians and raise the taste and artistic sense. It fits perfectly with him, as he has always rebelled against the clear form of Arabic music, noting that preparing the book took about two years, including his long musical journey from the mid-sixties until now.

Subsequently, the musician Omar Khairat played a group of his most famous musical works, including A Sweet Need, the series “Mass`ath Principle” and the movie “Khalli Balak Min Your Mind.” Omar Khairat’s music proved the strength of its influence on the audience, who expressed their great admiration for her by interacting with her.



During the ceremony, a documentary film was shown about Omar Khairat's history, his most prominent works and stages of his life, and his concerts that roamed the countries of the world, as well as the most prominent musical pieces he played.



The attendees enjoyed the artworks of the musician Omar Khairat and praised the ceremony and its good organization by the museum management, and roses were distributed to a number of mothers and women as a symbolic expression of the museum’s appreciation for them on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
