Egypt aims to establish 700 five-a-side stadiums as part of fiscal year plan

The sustainable development plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023 presented by the government to the House of Representatives revealed the state's goals in the youth and sports sector.

CAIRO – 28 July 2022: The sustainable development plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023 presented by the government to the House of Representatives revealed the state's goals in the youth and sports sector.


According to the plan, the state aims to establish different sports and cultural facilities for youths.


The plan includes establishing and developing 700 five-a-side stadiums, a youth center, 7 youth cities, 6 youth camps in four governorates, 7 stadiums, five sports cities, 8 hospitals and sports medicine units, 60 clubs and 4 civil education centers in Matrouh, Beni Suef, Fayoum and Sohag.


While in the culture sector, the state aims to develop 20 cultural palaces, 9 children's culture houses, and 4 theaters, in addition to developing several museums, including: the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, and establishing 3 branches of the Public Library of Egypt.
