On behalf of the artist, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, the Minister of Culture, the head of the Egyptian delegation and the head of the Egyptian Cultural Development Fund, Dr. Fathi Abdel Wahab, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the congratulations and greetings of the Minister of Culture and all the Egyptian intellectuals and artists who have ties of love and creativity with their Jordanian counterparts, and their wishes for the success of the selection events. Fathi Abdel Wahab said, "Egypt, the country of civilization, culture and creativity, came to support the Jordanian and Arab cultural scene at the same time, especially since the Jordanian and Egyptian relations are not a product of the moment. The cultural protocols between the two countries constituted a qualitative leap in the cultural issue." He indicated that the Egyptian cultural days came to celebrate Irbid, the Arab capital. The activities of the ceremony included the opening of an exhibition of plastic paintings by plastic artist Mohamed Debaja, which was inaugurated by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture, Hazza Al-Barari, in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Center, and the opening of an exhibition by the pioneer of Arabic calligraphy, Khudair Al-Borsaidi, which included many paintings that illustrated the aesthetics and arts of Arabic calligraphy, and an exhibition of handicrafts. In addition to an artistic celebration that included works by the symbols of Egyptian singing, during which the Alexandria Opera Band for Arab Music and Singing starred, led by Maestro Ihab Abdel Hamid, and included a group of tarab songs that won the audience’s approval. During which she presented a group of dance paintings from the Egyptian folklore that crossed the regions and governorates of Egypt.

The Jordanian Minister of Culture, Haifa Al-Najjar, was keen to honor the members of the Egyptian delegation and hand them the memorial shield to the city of Irbid in appreciation of their participation in the events.
