CAIRO - 27 August 2025: Egypt has expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the city of Ramallah, which targeted and injured Palestinian civilians, describing it as a dangerous escalation of Israel’s ongoing violations in the West Bank.
In an official statement released on Tuesday by the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt stressed that the Israeli government’s aggressive and extremist policies are the main factor destabilizing the region. Cairo warned that Israel’s provocative actions and its obstruction of all peace efforts in the region risk expanding the scope of the conflict.
Egypt reiterated its call on all members of the international community to take the necessary measures to compel Israel to respect international law and international humanitarian law and to halt its blatant violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
