The Arabic Language Academy was established in Cairo on December 13, 1932 AD during the reign of King Fouad I, and work began in 1934 AD. Its establishment decree issued in 1932 AD stipulated that the complex would consist of 20 members of scholars known for their knowledge of the Arabic language, half of whom were Egyptians, and half of them The other is Arabs and orientalists, which means that the complex is universal in composition, not bound by a specific nationality or religion, and that the criterion for selection is the ability and competence of ten Egyptians, and ten Arabs and Arabists.
The International Day of the Arabic Language is a day to celebrate the Arabic language and falls on December 18 of each year.
