Egypt's Ministry of Finance stated that 2021-2022 balance sheet focuses on investing in humans and improving the quality of people's lives.

CAIRO - 17 November 2020: Egypt's Ministry of Finance stated that 2021-2022 balance sheet focuses on investing in humans and improving the quality of people's lives.


After successfully accomplishing the first stage of the economic reform program which was meant to realize stability of macroeconomic indicators, the government started to promote investments in humans under the 2020-2021 budget.


The ministry said the coming four years will focus on investing in humans.


The 2021-2022 balance sheet seeks to improve several basic services offered to citizens, topped by health, education, transportation, drinking water and sanitation in addition to social housing and slums development.


The balance sheet also aims to promote social protection network in addition to proceeding with mega national projects, including reclamation of 1.5 million feddans.
