CAIRO, 15 April 2020: Minister of Trade and Industry Nevien Gamea announced that the Egyptian non-petroleum exports increased during the 1st quarter of 2020 by 2 percent.

The value of experts reached $6.728 billion in comparison to $6.580 billion during the same period in 2019, she said, she pointed out, according to the state news agency, MENA.

In a statement of the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Wednesday, Gamea said that imports went down by 24 percent in the first quarter of 2020 recording $13.814 billion in comparison to $18.233 billion during the same period in the past year.
