Min of Culture announces: More than a million people visited the book fair in 6 days

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, confirmed that the number of visitors to the Cairo International Book Fair in its 51st session at the Egypt International Exhibition Center crossed the one million visitors barrier on its sixth day to express the awareness of the people of the homeland of the importance of knowledge as a locomotive of development.
 
Enas Abdel Dayem said that the various activities create a unique creative case that combines culture with the arts, following up that the operating room that was formed to follow the work movement received a lot of praises for the new electronic application for the places of publishing houses, their publications and the dates of activities, as the number of users has reached more than 150 alpha.
 
The Minister of Culture praised the public turnout at the display stands to obtain the various and most recent publications, in addition to keenness to attend the accompanying various events that address all age groups.
 
It is worth noting that the Cairo International Book Fair continues until February 4, and Senegal is the country that is the guest of honor of the exhibition. The writer, Jamal Hamdan, will replace the exhibition's public figure.
