Egypt’s Badr Abdelatty joins a Gaza Peace Council meeting in New York to discuss implementing Trump’s peace plan and regional coordination. Wed, Sep. 23, 2026
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty participated on Wednesday in a meeting of the Gaza Peace Council, attended by US presidential adviser Jared Kushner, US Special Envoy for Peace Missions and the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The meeting brought together ministers and political and military officials to discuss efforts to support the implementation of President Donald Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip.

The participants also discussed continued coordination among the parties involved, with the aim of supporting peace and stability in the region.
