CAIRO, 5 March 2020: Egypt's Transport Minister Kamel Wazir had talks on Wednesday with a representative of Mercedes company on supplying Egypt with 20 environment-friendly buses to be operated in the New Administrative Capital.
The deal is the first phase of other contracts with the company that will be signed later.
The agreement comes in implementation of a plan by the government for providing high-quality means of transportation inside the new capital.
In statements, Wazir said that each of the 20 buses can carry 100 passengers and are air-conditioned and supplied with Wi Fi and display screens.
