He affirmed that there are no longer issues related to transferring profits abroad in foreign currencies for investors.
The Egyptian president also pointed out that the government is actively streamlining licensing procedures for investors through the implementation of the one-stop shop system and the issuance of the “golden license,” which accelerates the approval process for strategic projects.
One of the key areas discussed was Egypt’s logistics infrastructure. Sisi revealed that the country has developed seven logistical hubs linking the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, supported by a comprehensive and modern road network.
He encouraged Qatari investors to visit these strategic locations and explore investment opportunities in Egypt’s logistics sector, which is primed for growth.

In agriculture, Sisi disclosed that Egypt has prepared between 2 to 3 million acres of land for agricultural reclamation and is open to partnerships with Qatari investors to cultivate these areas. He also extended an invitation for investment in the automotive industry, particularly electric vehicles, noting that Egypt offers both the industrial infrastructure and a large consumer market to support production and sales.
President Sisi’s visit to Qatar marks a significant step in fostering stronger economic cooperation, with promising prospects in sectors such as logistics, tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing. The Egyptian government’s pro-investment policies and major infrastructure developments signal a strong commitment to building a sustainable and inclusive economy.
