Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry received Wednesday a phone call from UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, Commonwealth and United Nations Tariq Ahmed who wanted to discuss the Gaza War.

The two ministers conferred over the deteriorating humanitarian conditions so as Minister Shokry underscored the international community's responsibility to end the suffering as well as the Israeli violations and aggression. Hence, they exchanged views on endeavors aimed at pacification and hostage swap.

As the sufficient supply of humanitarian aid is crucial to alleviate the impact of the war, the Egyptian minister pointed out that international parties should pressure Israel to remove the obstacles it sets in the way of delivery. He equally showcased that Israel carries out random raids and completely destroys services and infrastructure.
