JLO & Russ’ Visits to Egypt Were Phenomenal According to the Stars

This summer Egypt hosted two of the biggest concerts of the year,
famous American rapper Russell Vitale, or Russ, who had nothing but praise for Egypt during an interview broadcast on the CNN Newsroom program, following his ever performance in Egypt on August 2 at the North Coast’s Al-Alamein city, and world-famous star, Jennifer Lopez one of Hollywood’s most successful performers and Hip-hop icons expressed her great thrill after her concert that was also held in Al-Alamein city on August 9. 

This was the first visit of the two stars to Egypt, before her arrival, Lopez indicated that her son was so excited to visit Egypt, saying “My son is very excited to visit Egypt and he doesn't stop saying I want to go, I want to go.”

“We have been all going to the United States, and it has been amazing, it’s been amazing, its been a real special experience, it’s not just a regular concert tour it’s a moment, it’s a moment in time, a special moment in time that we won’t ever have again, I say this is going to be the summertime of my life that I will never forget so, I’m super excited to share it for the first time with all the fans in Egypt”. Jlo said.

“Yeah, I’m just excited to visit Egypt, I don’t think that I’ve ever performed there, so, it’s what making it very special, like some of these countries I’m going to I’ve never been to before, so this will be a new experience to me and for my fans that I’ve never seen, you know, so it is going to be exciting,” Jlo said.

Large number of audience attended Lopez’s long awaited concert. Egyptian celebrities such as Mona Zaki, Ahmed Helmy, Hussein Fahmy, Mostafa Fahmy, Egypt's Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Egyptian minister of finance Mohamed Maait, Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris, Bushra, Mahmoud el Essily among others. 








































American rapper Russ in his interview with CNN that was made during his visit to the city, the star expressed the reasons why he chose to hold a large concert in Egypt, expressing admiration for the beauty of the north coast’s beaches. Pointing out his interest in social media and follower reactions, the rapper explained that it was his Egyptian followers who encouraged him to hold the concert in Egypt.

The hashtag #MyEgypt, launched by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with CNN to present different experiences by tourists in Egypt, appeared on-screen during the interview to promote tourism.

He expressed his happiness with the audience who attended the concert, which included up to 8,000 people, and called Egypt a country full of love and warmth that he felt from everyone he met there.

CNN Channel also described New Alamein city on Egypt’s north coast as having the most beautiful beaches in the world, adding that it is now attracting tourists from various countries.
