Egypt's Min of Culture Inaugurates the Development Works of "Miami Theater"

Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, unveiled the commemorative plaque for the development and modernization of the "Miami Theater", on Talaat Harb Street, in downtown Cairo.

Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani said: “The opening of the Miami theater represents an added value to the balance of the state’s theaters, noting that the coming period will witness the return of life to the stage of many theaters, as a number of projects are being implemented in this regard, including projects to develop the Al-Ghad and Bayram Al-Tunisi theaters, As well as the restructuring of the Metropole and the Floating theaters, in addition to the opening of the Misr Theater project.

The Minister of Culture praised the distinguished creative level of the theatrical show "Tayyib and Amir", and congratulated the work team on their inaugural show and urged them to exert more efforts, and appreciated the efforts of artists and creators in enriching the Egyptian cultural scene.

Director Khaled Galal expressed his happiness with the opening of the Miami Theater after developing it in a way that befits the value and heritage of the country's theaters, whose performances during the last period witnessed remarkable momentum and great public turnout, and some performances exceeded 100 nights of theatrical performances, which confirms the importance of theater to the Egyptian public.

For his part, the artist, Yasser Al-Tobji, thanked the Minister of Culture for reopening the Miami Theater and restarting it after its development. taken from the heritage of Naguib El-Rihani and Badih Khairy, and added that his plan in the next stage lies in attracting comedy stars, to present strong works that suit the history of Egyptian comedy theater.

The show “Tayyib and Amir” starring Amr Ramzy, Hisham Ismail, Tamer Farag, Ahmed El Selkawy, Rasha Fouad, Noha Lotfy, Sherif Hosni, Shaimaa Abdel Qader, Mahmoud El Huneidi, Mahmoud Fathy and the stars of the comedy theater, written by Ahmed El Malwany, decor Hamdy Attia, lighting Abu Bakr Al-Sharif, Amira Saber's fashion, Osama Muhanna's performances, Karim Arafa's music, Ayman Al-Turki's music distribution, Tariq Ali's poetry, and directed by Muhammad Jabr.
