Minister of Culture: The multiplicity of advanced talents confirms that Egypt will have, during the coming years, a group of artists and writers

The Supreme Council of Culture has completed the process of sorting and counting the number of applicants for the State Prize for the Young Creator in its third session, which is held under the auspices of Mrs. Intisar Al-Sisi, wife of the President of the Republic.

Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, said that the ministry was keen to announce the number of talents advanced to win the award from our children at the level of the republic, as soon as the door for submission to it closed, and added that the diversity of the governorates from which children applied to win the award confirms the success of the ministry in achieving the axes of its strategy aimed at Achieving cultural justice, discovering, nurturing and supporting talented people in various literary and artistic fields, and expressed her happiness at the great turnout from the people of the governorates. The governorate of Assiut in Upper Egypt topped the numbers with an unprecedented number of talented people, then the governorate of the New Valley, which was chosen this year as the capital of Egyptian culture.

The Minister of Culture indicated that the sorting revealed that the number of girls was twice the number of boys, and revealed the multiplicity of talents and their diversity between drawing, singing, playing and writing a story, which confirms that Egypt will have, during the coming years, a group of artists and writers.

For his part, Dr. Hisham Azmy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture, said that the number of applicants reached 10,068 children, consisting of 3,480 males and 6,588 females, as 9,864 children applied on the website, while 204 children submitted their work manually.

He added that he applied for the award in all the announced fields, children from most of the governorates, and the Assiut governorate topped with a huge number of gifted children amounting to 3436, followed by the New Valley and 747 children applied, then Giza 730 children, Cairo 679 children, Alexandria 650 children, and Port Said 376 339 children, Dakahlia 339 children, Qalyubia 282 children, Buhaira 272 children, Damietta 230 children, Gharbia 226 children, Minya 224 children, Sharkia 196 children, Fayoum 190 children, Sohag 184 children, Beni Suef 164 children, Ismailia 139 children, Qena 160 children Aswan 114 children, the Red Sea 121 children, Menoufia 138 children, North Sinai 88 children, Kafr El-Sheikh 159 children, Suez 80 children, South Sinai 77 children, Matrouh 40 children and Luxor 34 children.

He indicated that the number in the story branch reached 430 from the first age group, and 399 from the second age group, while in the poetry branch, 167 applied to the first age group, and 334 to the second age group, while 61 applied to the playwriting branch for the first age group, and 84 for the second age group. .

The number of applicants in the drawing branch reached 3642 for the first age group, and 3065 for the second age group, while in the playing branch, 93 applied for the first age group, and 90 for the second age group, and 232 applied for the first age group in the singing branch, and 369 for the second age group for the same branch.

In the Applications and Websites branch, 192 were submitted for the first age group, 286 for the second age group, and finally, in the Scientific Innovations branch, 372 were submitted for the first age group, and 252 for the second age group.
