The Sphinx International Airport will receive its first flights on November 1st after the completion of the development work and the increase in its capacity to one million two hundred thousand passengers annually, and international flights will start operating in the near future.
The airport is one of the most important airports due to its proximity to the pyramids area and the Grand Egyptian Museum, which contributes to linking tourist cities and archaeological areas and activating one-day tourism in line with the strategic objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the achievement of the Egyptian state's economic development plan.
