Egypt's Minister of Culture provides a speech at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, hosted a panel discussion entitled "Taha Hussein: Insight of the Mind". The seminar was attended by Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Egyptian Minister of Culture.

Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, started the session with a speech in which she expressed her deep sadness and sympathy for the passing away of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, conveying the condolences of the brotherly Egyptian people and their intellectuals to the people and leadership of the UAE.

She emphasized that the dean of literature, Taha Hussein, is considered one of the greats in Arab history, and a strongly influential name in the history of Arab and international thought. she added; Dr. Taha Hussein devoted his career to the values ​​of charity, love and peace, so that his name would remain as a unique Egyptian model, and he was distinguished at the level of thought and criticism as well as in several creative fields, including the story, the novel and the biography.

Enas Abdel Dayem praised the efforts of the exhibition’s management to celebrate the dean of Arabic literature as a pivotal figure, stressing the importance of celebrating such figures that Egypt and Arab culture presented to the world as bright models that confirm that our culture is not only for history but for the future.
