The Egyptian civilization is ancient and extended and has left a great impact on the behavior and lives of the Egyptians. Perhaps the one who is familiar with their antiquities and ancient history will find many indications that the ancient Egyptian cared for the family and sought to form a strong and constructive family.
The kings of Egypt were always seeking to document their lives that revealed their interest in their families, and from this we find drawings of Akhenaten, for example, with his daughters and his wife, and we find many murals that suggest the family and its value.
Dr. Zahi Hawass, in an article in the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, says, "The ancient Egyptian was keen to marry at an early age, and we have the wise Ptah-Hotep, whose history dates back to more than four thousand years, and he left us with important advice, in which he says, "If you become Competent (or rational) establish your home (that is, build your family), love your wife within the limits of custom, or treat her according to what she deserves.” Another sage talks about marriage, and gives advice to his son called Khonsu, he says: “You find a wife for you when you are young or rational, To raise your children and treat you well.
The same writer, or wise man, added advice to his son, and said: “Take a wife for you who will give birth to you sons, for if she gives birth to you while you are in Khor Al-Shabab, you will be able to cultivate him and make him a human being. Blessed is the man of great origin when he hopes for his children.”
