CAIRO - 9 October 2025: Al Qahera TV News Channel reported on Thursday that Egypt is intensifying its contacts and field efforts to allow bulldozers and engineering equipment into the Gaza Strip.
This will allow repairing destroyed roads to ensure the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to various areas within the Strip.
The Egyptian efforts are part of an urgent humanitarian plan to reopen safe corridors and facilitate relief operations in coordination with the United Nations and several international organizations. Cairo continues its pressure to ensure the unhindered flow of aid.
This comes after Hamas and Israel have agreed to first phase of Gaza Peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.
“This means that all of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace,” U.S. President Donald Trump wrote Wednesday on Truth Social.
Many world leaders have welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, describing it as a first step toward ending the cycle of violence and opening a new path toward calm and stability in the region.
