CAIRO – 15 September 2025: Egypt delivered on Monday the 37th humanitarian aid convoy from the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing toward the Kerem Shalom crossing. This comes as part of the ongoing initiative “Zad Al-Izza… From Egypt to Gaza,” which aims to support the people of Gaza with essential food, medical supplies, and other relief items.
The convoy set off carrying food supplies including rice, pasta, flour, and baby formula, as well as medicines and medical supplies. The aid convoys reflect Egypt’s steadfast commitment to standing by the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering during this prolonged crisis.
Al-Qahera News correspondent Ziad Qassem, said that Egypt has established logistical warehouses to receive large quantities of aid from civil society and government institutions, the National Coalition, and non-governmental organizations, as well as aid from other countries.
These supplies are being transferred to the warehouses under the supervision of the Egyptian Red Crescent before being sent to Gaza.
He added that the Israeli restrictions on the entry of fuel and other essential supplies continue to hamper relief efforts, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation in the besieged Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced in an urgent appeal that the laboratories and blood banks in hospitals are suffering from a severe shortage of solutions and consumables for life-saving tests.
It announced in a separate statement on Saturday that in the past 24 hours, 47 martyrs and 205 new injuries have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip. Besides, several victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 64,803 martyrs and 164,264 wounded since October 7, 2023.
Furthermore, the Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 7 deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including 2 children, bringing the total to 420, including 145 children.
