CAIRO – 24 February 2025: Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah expressed Kuwait's anticipation for Egypt to unveil its Gaza reconstruction plan, which aims to serve the interests and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people by rebuilding the strip while simultaneously ensuring they remain on their land.
The crown prince made these remarks while welcoming Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Sunday, discussing enhancement of bilateral cooperation as well as various topics of mutual concern.
Madbouly affirmed Egypt's full support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to an independent state based on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He emphasized the necessity of rebuilding the Gaza Strip while ensuring that the Palestinian people remain on their land.
Additionally, Madbouly highlighted the importance of a unified Arab position, which Egypt is striving to achieve through the efforts of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
He expressed his aspiration for security and stability for all Arab countries and a resolution to the crises currently facing the region.
For his part, the Kuwaiti crown prince reiterated the importance of forming a unified vision for the reconstruction of Gaza during the upcoming Arab leaders’ summit, scheduled for March 4 in Cairo.
Sheikh Sabah stressed the need for solidarity to confront the current challenges in the region.
