The Reform and Renaissance Party called on every Egyptian to “remember the state of the country” prior to the ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood regime and to prevent the return of the Islamist group.
The party said in a Sunday statement that after a wave of terrorism in the aftermath of the ouster, many lives and resources were lost, but today “we stand is solid and stable ground to discuss our development rates and our future plans to increase them.”
The statement comes after the another conference of the series “the Story of Home,” which was attended by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The party also called on Egyptians to take pride in the developments of the country in all fields, calling them “a miracle.”
It reiterated the words of Sisi’s speech that nations “can only be built in a climate of stability.” It also added that the absence of the Muslim Brotherhood from the political scene is a major pillar of stability.
The call for the return of the Brotherhood is a “betrayal” for the Egyptian nation, the party said.
