CAIRO –1 September 2022: Egypt's Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Osama Askar held on Wednesday a meeting with his Greek counterpart General Konstantinos Floros.
The meeting tackled means of promoting military cooperation between the two countries, and security challenges facing the Mediterranean and Middle East regions.
Askar said the meeting aims to promote mutual cooperation to achieve stability and security in the Mediterranean and Middle East regions.
Floros, for his part, pressed for continuing cooperation between the two countries in the military field to face common challenges.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation protocol in the fields of training and rehabilitation.
