Egypt’s FM Shoukry reviews cooperation with World Economic Forum president Tue, Jul. 26, 2022
Cairo, 26 July 2022: Egypt's Foreign Minister and President Designate of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) Sameh Shoukry discussed on Tuesday in a telephone call with the President of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Borge Brende means to boost cooperation between Egypt and the forum, the Egyptian foreign ministry announced.

During the call with Brende, the foreign minister expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the World Economic Forum for Egypt's presidency of COP27, scheduled to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh in November, especially in his annual meetings in Davos last May.

Shoukry further stressed his keenness for the success of the conference to strengthen international climate action at various levels.
