This evening, Dr. Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, participated in the celebration held by the Italian Embassy in Cairo, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Italy's National Day.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ali Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, a number of ambassadors of foreign countries in Egypt, a group of members of the Egyptian Parliament and public figures.
During the ceremony, Mr. Michele Quaroni, Ambassador of the State of Italy in Cairo, gave a speech in which he spoke about the relations between Egypt and Italy in many fields, including tourism, antiquities and education.
It is worth noting that the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities had met last April with the Italian ambassador in Cairo and the head of the Federation of Italian Tourism Companies, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and push more tourist traffic to Egypt from Italy.
The ministry also recently participated in the BIT Milan International Tourism Fair, which was held last April in Milan, Italy, which is considered one of the most important professional fairs in the Italian market.
