The Cultural Empowerment Conference kicks off at the Asmarat Culture Palace

The artist, Galal Othman, President of the Greater Cairo Region and the North of Upper Egypt, inaugurated the one-day conference for cultural empowerment at the Asmarat Culture Palace, under the title "Integration of People with Special Needs in University and Pre-University Education - Aspirations and Hopes".

The conference began with an inaugural session moderated by Zainab El-Shazly, the official of the convoys in the region. special abilities.

Jalal Othman pointed to the importance of empowering them in society, which is an important part of the modern community development plan, with the inclusion of integration in the plan of the Ministry of Culture and concerted efforts to achieve the strategy of the General Authority for Culture Palaces, explaining the objectives of the region in spreading awareness and education of the need for integration and its importance in creating a sense of belonging among people with abilities. own.

Jihan Hassan, Director General of the Cairo Branch, explained that empowering people of determination has become one of the priorities of the national action agenda, especially in light of the directives of the political leadership, which represents one of the interconnections between work and building tracks for the new republic.

This was followed by honoring personalities with special needs from each governorate, the president of the conference and researchers, then a technical segment was presented by the Rawd Al-Faraj Choir for People with Special Needs, which presented various songs that the audience enjoyed, including “I loved my country, good morning, who is with us, tomorrow increases our joy.” ".

On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition of the products of women's clubs and plastic arts workshops of the Cairo Culture Branch was held.
