Algerian Minister of Culture: Presidential instructions to reactivate the Cultural Center in Egypt

Shaalal added, during her interview on the “In the Evening with Qaswa” program, which is shown on the “cbc” channel, presented by the media, Qaswaa Al-Khalali: “We have many participations in Egypt and abroad, and we are keen on the participation of Egypt and the countries of the Arab world in our events,” noting that the file of Culture is at the center of the interests of Arab countries, as it has been able to achieve many achievements for the benefit of creators and citizens.

And the Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts continued: "There are cultural contents that we consume that do not promote values ​​and concepts that serve the interests of our people and our privacy as Arab peoples. Arab countries must join efforts to advance a real cultural industry that achieves its cultural security."

Dr. Wafaa Chaalal, Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts, stressed the need for culture to be a defense mechanism for Arab unity, to provide a service to the nation's unity, and to be a real tool for national security.

She added: "From this standpoint, the Algerian government is working under the guidance of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to devote a new approach to culture that is an economic approach aimed at strengthening everything that is a cultural industry with national components.

And the Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts continued, "We seek to have everything that is to promote our heritage and to ensure its practice in ways that protect our people, make them coherent, and preserve their security and culture."

She stressed the need for the cultural industry to promote the common heritage among Arab countries, to be documented and recorded, and to accomplish joint works in cinema, heritage and programming to transfer our culture to the Western world.
