Today, Dr. Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, participated in the celebration organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Egypt in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the organization, which is one of the international organizations of the United Nations specialized in the fields of Childhood and adolescence.
As part of the participation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the celebration of this occasion, the Pyramids of Giza were lit up for an hour in blue, the official color of the United Nations and UNICEF.
The ceremony was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of ministers attended, including the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, the Minister of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, the Minister of International Cooperation and the UNICEF representative in Egypt.
