The Archaeological House of Sinnari, affiliated to the Cultural Communication Sector at the BA, will hold an art workshop entitled "Foam Mosaic", at 2:00 p.m. next Tuesday, at the house's headquarters in Sayeda Zeinab, while following all precautionary and preventive measures in order to confront the Corona virus and limit its spread.
The event targets children from 10 to 12 years old, and aims to provide children with several different skills such as cutting and pasting, in addition to the technical skills resulting from the use of different materials.
The workshop presents the artist Asmaa Abdel Alim, which focuses on introducing the art of mosaic, the tools used in a simplified manner, and how to choose and print the design, in addition to cutting foam mosaic into regular and irregular shapes, as well as working on the implementation of the final form, and the artistic output of the painting by combining these Small pieces, to make a decorative form of a theme, story, etc.
It is worth mentioning the artist Asmaa Abdel Alim, one of the most prominent trainers of art workshops in the field of crafts and handicrafts, as she has the necessary ability to deal with children and help them benefit from their creative energies.
