The world is waiting for the moment of the opening of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, after the majestic procession to transport royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of their permanent display in the Museum of Civilization, on April 3, where the event will transmit nearly 400 local and international channels. The central exhibition hall includes the main display of the museum, which includes nearly 1600 artifacts, and the visitor can get an integrated idea of ​​the Egyptian civilization and its most important achievements throughout its different eras, starting from prehistoric times through the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras up to the modern era. And the contemporary, in addition to what the Egyptians inherited from the traditional culture or what is known as the popular heritage.

The most important thing unique to the Civilization Museum is the mummies exhibition hall, which includes 22 kings of ancient Egypt, 18 kings and 4 queens, after preparing them after their transfer from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, and a hall was specially designed to display the mummies of the kings and queens of Pharaonic Egypt, which prepares for the visitor the atmosphere of Wadi Kings, where these mummies were found, and befitting their high status.
