The Minister of Culture has directed the necessity of stressing the intensification of the precautionary measures that must be followed within the sectors, theaters, theaters, and all cultural and artistic sites and facilities, with the importance of following up the provision of preventive measures within them, such as sterilization and hygiene tools, and obligating everyone to follow them, whether they are among the public or providers of cultural service.
It also instructed the necessity to postpone and postpone all major events, celebrations and festivals in the ministry, especially those that are witnessing a large public presence, including the postponement of the Aswan International Symposium, which was scheduled to be held during the period from January 19 to March 10, 2021, and the conclusion of the National Theater Festival without public attendance, with the award ceremony being sufficient. And postponing the opening of the Higher Institute of Cinema at the Academy of Arts.
She also directed the necessity of coordination and cooperation between sectors regarding the provision of activities that comply with the current requirements, and the necessity of developing a programmatic map for the dates and activities in the sectors, including a preliminary plan and an alternative plan in anticipation of the expected challenges of Corona.
The sectors urged the importance of developing programmatic plans for their activities for the next phase 2021, taking into account the development and implementation of innovative creative methods similar to the initiatives that have recently succeeded in achieving great cultural and artistic returns.
It also called for presenting the strategies of each sector in line with the axes of the Ministry of Culture and related to the government program to achieve the desired development goals.
