CAIRO - 6 March 2022: Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry affirmed on Saturday that endorsing the new strategy for cooperation between Egypt and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) coincides with Egypt's efforts to attain sustainable development in a way that achieve the Egyptian nation's aspirations at political, economic and cultural levels.
During his participation in the launching ceremony of the new strategy for cooperation between Egypt and the EBRD, Shoukry pointed out to intense challenges that faced Egypt, namely the current international political climate and the negative consequences of the Covid-19.
He also hailed the efforts exerted by International Cooperation Minister Rania Mashat, the Foreign Ministry and the EBRD to reach such agreement.
The minister noted that the Egyptian economy is now capable to confront more challenges and crises and to attract more foreign investments within President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's developmental plan.
