Exports of chemical industries hit $4.153 bln in 10 months

Egypt's Trade Ministry said that the chemical and fertilizers sector's exports hit $4.153 billion during the period from January to October 2020, compared to $4.363 billion recorded during the same period in 2019, with a 4.8% decline.

CAIRO - 28 November 2020: Egypt's Trade Ministry said that the chemical and fertilizers sector's exports hit $4.153 billion during the period from January to October 2020, compared to $4.363 billion recorded during the same period in 2019, with a 4.8% decline.


Egypt's exports of plastic and rubber products reached $1.376 billion compared with $1.571 billion, the ministry said.


While the exports of fertilizer products were up by 2.7 percent registering $1.146 billion compared with $1.116 billion, the ministry further said.
