Egypt Delivers 59th humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza Mon, Oct. 27, 2025
CAIRO – 27 October 2025: Humanitarian aid trucks entered the besieged Gaza on Monday through the side gate of Rafah Border Crossing toward Al-Ouja and Karm Abou Salem crossings, as part of the 59th convoy of “Zad Al-Ezza - From Egypt to Gaza.”

The convoy is carrying various relief materials for the Palestinian people in the war-devastated Gaza Strip, including medical supplies and food baskets.

These efforts reflect Egypt’s continued commitment to supporting the people of Gaza through the provision of food, as well as medical and relief aid.

The “Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza” initiative, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent on July 27, has been consistently delivering thousands of tons of assistance — including food supplies, flour, baby formula, medical equipment, medications, personal care items, and fuel — to alleviate the suffering in Gaza.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a constant presence at the Rafah border, acting as the primary national body responsible for organizing and dispatching aid to Gaza since the onset of the crisis. Despite regional challenges, the Rafah crossing has remained open on the Egyptian side, ensuring the continued flow of humanitarian assistance.

Through its logistical centers and a dedicated network of 35,000 volunteers, the ERC has facilitated the delivery of over half a million tons of humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza to date.
