CAIRO – 25 October 2025: A total of 2,062 humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip between October 18 and October 23, as reported by Al Qahera News TV Channel on Saturday.
This influx of aid comes as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to facilitate humanitarian convoys through the Rafah land crossing, in coordination with international and regional partners.
The initiative aims to ensure the continued delivery of essential supplies, including food, medicine, and relief materials, to the residents of the besieged Gaza Strip.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupation was reached in Sharm El-Sheikh and came into effect on October 10. The agreement is based on a plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which outlines a framework for a ceasefire, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, a mutual prisoner exchange, the immediate entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and the disarmament of Hamas.
According to the agreement’s official document, “All humanitarian aid shall be immediately permitted to enter and be freely distributed according to the agreed-upon mechanism, in line with the humanitarian resolution of January 19, 2025.”
The resolution mandates the daily entry of 600 humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip to meet urgent civilian needs.
