Egypt PM Mostafa Madbouly Attends UN General Assembly High-Level Debate

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly attended the opening session of the general debate of the high-level segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, representing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.



The high-level segment is the UN’s largest annual gathering of heads of state and government, foreign ministers and senior UN officials. It provides a key platform for countries to present their positions on major international and regional issues, while also holding bilateral and multilateral meetings.

Egypt’s participation provides an opportunity to present its positions on regional and international priorities, reaffirm its foreign policy principles and highlight its role in supporting regional stability and multilateral cooperation.

Madbouly is heading Egypt’s delegation at the 81st UN General Assembly session. The delegation also includes Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
