CAIRO - 23 April 2019: The National Election Authority announced in a press conference held on Tuesday that 88.83 % of the voters voted in favor of the constitutional amendments, while 11.17 % voted against the amendments and 3.6 % was considered invalid ballots.
The total number of illegible voters is 61,344,503, and the turnout of voters in the referendum on the constitutional amendments was 27,193,593 voters, which represent 44,33% of the illegible voters.
The total number of valid votes is 26,362,421, which represents 96,94% of the total number of votes.
The total number of invalid votes is 831,172, which represents 3,06% of the total number of votes.
The total number of votes in favor of the constitutional amendments is 23,416,741, which represent 88,83% of the votes.
The total number of votes against the constitutional amendments is 2,945,680 which represent 11.17% of the votes.
