CAIRO – 18 October 2020: Human rights-related issues have always occupied a prominent place in the Egyptian legal system, and in state policies.

Accordingly, and amid a wide controversy over the status of Egyptian laws and policies in relation to international standards of human rights, Egypt Forward is launching a series of articles detailing constitutional laws and government efforts across various human rights issues.
