Among the winners of the UK Film Music Awards (2021); James Newton Howard won Best Music Composer of the Year for the score for Jungle Cruise and Raya and the Last Dragon, and Mauricio Malinini won Best Music Composition for Coppelia, which was shown during the last edition of the El Gouna Film Festival.

Nazih was honored by the Arab Music Festival at the opening of its thirtieth session in November 2021, in recognition of his musical career over more than 20 years, in the presence of the festival's guest of honor, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem. It was also hosted by the Cairo International Film Festival in its last session, to interview Indian composer AR Rahman in a symposium within the activities of Cairo Film Industry Days.

Hisham Nazih composed dramatic music for more than 40 film and television works, and collaborated with the most important directors in the Egyptian film industry.

Hisham Nazih's first experience in composing dramatic music was in the movie Hysteria (1998), which was the first work of most of his artistic staff, and Hisham's breakthrough was through the movie The Ladder and the Serpent (2001) directed by Tarek El-Erian. The success of the film's music prompted its release on a stand-alone album using compositions from the film's music, and it is one of only a few albums of dramatic music to be released commercially in the Arab world. In the same year, he collaborated in the movie The Magician with director Radwan Al-Kashef, then Sahar Al-Layali (2003), and the following year he returned to collaborate with Tariq Al-Arian in the action movie Tito, then in Aswar Al-Qamar (2015) and the Welad Rizk series (2015 and 2019).

Hisham Nazih was distinguished by using music from culturally diverse references, such as the music of the films Treasure (2017 and 2019) by Sherif Arafa, Ibrahim Al Abyad (2009) and Al Asliel (2017) directed by Marwan Hamed, with whom he achieved success in the series The Blue Elephant (2014-2019). The Egyptian films are the most heavily used in music, and the music has recorded an independent success with the audience. His most recent film is Al Aref, which leads the Egyptian cinema revenues locally and in the Arab world in 2021.

In the television drama, he presented the music for the series Sherbet Luz (2012), The Seven Commandments (2014) and The Covenant: Permissible Words (2015) directed by Khaled Marei, and Afrah al-Qubba (2016) by Muhammad Yassin. At the beginning of 2020, Hisham Nazih had his first experience with a work that was shown across the platforms through a series every week on Friday, the first Egyptian series from the original Shahid platform.
