"Memory of the City" a documentary about the tales of Egyptian streets and their residents

The National Authority for Civilization Coordination of the Ministry of Culture produced a documentary film entitled "Memory of the City" directed by Mohamed Mandour, documenting the stories of the streets of Egypt and monitoring the most prominent places in which the symbols and creators of Egypt lived, as well as buildings with distinctive architectural styles dating back to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and the first half From the twenty first century.
Eng. Mohamed Abu Saada, head of the National Organization for Civilization Coordination, Dr. Mohamed Afifi, professor of history at Cairo University, and a number of children of Egyptian artists and symbols, including Sumaya Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, daughter of artist Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, and Sherine Yahya Al Alami, daughter of director Yahya Alami and Baha Jaheen, son of the poet Baha Jaheen And Manar Hossam Muheeb, daughter of the pioneer of animation, Hossam Muheeb, and Mohamed Abdel-Ghany El-Sayed, son of the singer Abdel-Ghany El-Sayed.
The film also shows the opinions of citizens in installing street paintings that tell their stories and monitors the places where the symbols of Egypt lived.
It is worth noting that the National Authority for Civilizational Coordination implemented a street story project, and the first stage included documenting the tales of 50 streets and hanging banners in them, as well as a project that lived here in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Western Qalyubia and Alexandria, and includes the installation of 283 paintings documenting the places where Egypt’s icons and creators inhabited by scholars and artists. And clergy, military, politicians and symbols from various disciplines and fields, and the first and second stages of the project lived here include 300 paintings.
Its installation is being completed, then the third phase of the project will start and include another 100 paintings, bringing the total number of the documentation panels for the housing of Egypt's symbols to 400 characters.
