Cairo - 2 April 2020: In order to combat the spread of the Corona virus, the number of employees at art venues has been significantly, and the sterilisation continues.

The Egyptian Cultural Production Sector headed by theatre director Khaled Galal is continuing its efforts in disinfecting and sterilising cultural venues in the country.

Galal revealed that several buildings have already been disinfected, including Hanager Centre for Arts (a venue that comprises a theatre hall, a cinema hall, a large cafeteria and rooms for artists), the Greater Cairo Library in Zamalek and its Islamic Civilisation Library branch.

The disinfection operations continue at other venues under the Cultural Production Sector, which operates under Egypt's Ministry of Culture.
