The character of the exhibition, Jamal Hamdan, was born on February 4, 1928 AD in the Qaliubiya Governorate, in a family that ends in the Arab tribe (Bani Hamdan). His study "The Personality of Egypt: A Study in the Genius of the Place" is considered one of the most important geographical studies on Egypt, where "Hamdan" blended his study between geography, history, politics, natural sciences, humanities and other applied fields.
Jamal Hamdan won the Encouragement Countries Award in Social Sciences, the State Appreciation Award in Social Sciences in 1986 AD, and the Scientific Progress Award from Kuwait 1992 AD, 1959, and he also received the Medal of Science from the first class for his book "The Personality of Egypt" in 1411 AH-1988, and passed away in In 1993.
