The Egyptian parliament agreed to assign Dr. Khaled El-Enany to the Ministry of Tourism, next to the Ministry of Antiquities.

Khaled Al-Anani is the Ministry of Antiquities (since March 2016), and he is a professor in the Department of Tourist Guidance - Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - Helwan University (since 2011). The general supervisor of the Egyptian Museum of Editing (2015-2016), and the general supervisor of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (2014 - 2016), and honorary member of the French Society of Egyptology - France (since 2016), and he was awarded the Order of Persia in Arts and Literature - France (since 2015).

Khaled Al-Anani has held several positions, including:

Corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute, Berlin - Germany (since 2015).

Associate Researcher, Scientific Expert, Board Member, and Scientific Council of the French Institute of Oriental Archeology (2002-2016).

Visiting Professor - University of Paul Valerie Montpellier 3 - France (seven times during 2006-2013).

Under the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Education and Student Affairs - Helwan University (2012-2013).

Head of Tourism Guidance Department - Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - Helwan University (2011-2012).

Director of the Open Education Center - Helwan University (2010-2012).

Postgraduate Diploma and Doctorate in Egyptology - University of Paul Valerie Montpellier 3 - France (1997-2001).

He graduated from the Department of Tourist Guidance at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Helwan University in 1992, and obtained a master's degree from the same university in 1996, then joined the University of Paul Valerie Montpellier 3 in France to study postgraduate diploma and doctorate (1997-2001)

After obtaining his doctorate, he graduated from the academic work of the Guidance Department at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Helwan University, and worked as a teacher from 2001 to 2006, then as an assistant professor until 2011, then as a professor at the university since 2011. He was also appointed as the head of the Tourism Guidance Department of the College (2011-2012), and an agent of the College. For Education and Student Affairs (2011-2012). And Director of the Center for Open Education at the College (2010-2012).

He held many research positions, including the position of associate researcher at the French Institute of Oriental Archeology in Cairo (2002-2011), a scientific expert at the Institute (2012-2014) and a member of the Institute's Board of Directors (2011-2016).

He also taught Egyptology at the University of Paul Valerie Montpellier 3 as a visiting professor for 12 months in 2013 in addition to six other times each for one month between two years (2006-2011), and he also served as an associate researcher at the UMR5140 research unit of the National Center for Scientific Research in France and Paul University Valerie Montpellier 3 since 2002.

He received many awards and honors, including the Order of Knight in Arts and Literature from France in 2015, as well as honorary membership of the German Institute for Oriental Archeology in Cairo in the same year, and was awarded the honorary membership of the French Society of Egyptology in Paris in 2016.

He has published 20 researchers and scientific books with internationally refereed scientific periodicals, and has participated in more than 30 conferences in many countries of the world, including Egypt, France, Germany, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland.

He held the position of general supervisor of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat (2014-2016) and general supervisor of the Egyptian Museum of Editing (2015-2016) until he was appointed Minister of Antiquities on March 23, 2016
