CAIRO - 2 June 2021: Egypt is seeking to achieve comprehensive sustainable development in all governorates, said Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawy Tuesday.
The government is acting to maximize benefit from available resources with the aim to achieve a quantum leap in the living conditions of citizens and to create jobs for youth across Egypt, Shaarawy said during a meeting with Aswan governor Ashraf Attia in Cairo today.
It is important to remove any red tapes that might very well stand in the way of implementing projects that serve citizens, Shaarawy directed.
The meeting took up investment projects that are designed to meet the needs of citizens and improve services in the Upper Egyptian city of Aswan.
They also discussed an investment plan set for implementation in the coming fiscal year.
