CAIRO - 14 March 2023: Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry attended on Tuesday the virtual ministerial meeting of Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate Change fulfilling the invitation of U.S. Special Presidential Envoy on Climate John Kerry.
The meeting discussed the outcomes of COP 27 and ways of building on them in preparation for COP 28 taking place in the UAE by the end of 2023. On his side, Minister Shokry noted that the last summit hosted by Egypt represented a transition from pledges into implementation.
